Loving you

eyes had burnt long back
as deserts quietly threatened to converge on rituals
we stayed in proximity of feelings and dry earth
the fort delusional as always strayed sometimes crossing the sky
the sand had many strokes, its eyes remain unfocussed on the fort
when do think this love would end
only when the camels would stop crossing us
only when our narrow river shot dead in a gangwarnight leave us suddenly
only when our age old priest the fort decides to close down the secret seasons forever
only when you say that loving you has been so long
death remains so imperceptible at dawn.
